Get to Know Jacki and Kaitlin

The ProSocial team has been growing. Check out informal, unofficial bios for two of our newer staff members.

Jacki Schechner:
Senior VP, Client Services

Grew up in: Miami, FL.

College major: Diplomatic History (plus a Masters in Broadcast Journalism).

Professional superpowers: Talking to anybody about anything; creating step-by-step plans to keep track of projects’ myriad moving pieces; staying upbeat, energized, and funny while on deadline.

Why she came to ProSocial: “I love the idea of being able to marry my past experience with research, media, and journalism”—she used to work on air at CNN—“with social action, fighting-for-a cause stuff I’ve done” (working on health care reform). “You can usually do one or the other: journalism and research or advocacy work. So it’s rare to be able to find an opportunity where you can combine those together into one job. Plus, I can ride my bike to work.”

Signature work accessories: College-ruled composition notebooks (filled with neat handwriting).

Spare time: “I like to get outside and do something physical, but my go-to exercise is SoulCycle. I’ve been doing it since I moved to L.A., about four years now. It keeps me sane.”

Kaitlin Kinsella:
Campaign Coordinator

Grew up in: Malibu, CA.

College major: Environmental Studies.

Professional superpowers: Speedily answering emails; creating and completing weekly to-do lists; identifying potential strategic partnerships; handling surprise requests that require figuring out a technical thing she’s never done.

Why she came to ProSocial: “After graduating from USC, I wanted to learn about business consulting, but my main goal was to do something to make a difference in the world. This is a perfect combination.”

Signature work accessories: Mandala laptop decal, lavender keyboard cover, and elephant-pattern laptop sleeve.

Spare time: “I like to hike, run on the beach, eat sushi, and spend time with my friends, my dog (a Shih Tzu), and my family. I also love to travel—I studied abroad in Australia, and Iceland and New Zealand are two of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I really want to go to Southeast Asia.”
