Years of Living Dangerously Coming in April

There is a new television series headed your way this spring, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it. Called YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, the series will showcase the human impacts of climate change, bringing to our living rooms the tragedy and aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the devastation of wildfires in California, the drought that contributed to the rebellion in Syria, and the stories of families, politicians, scientists and everyday people who are standing together to find solutions to the planet’s most daunting threat: climate change. YEARS premieres on Showtime on April 13.

Last fall, ProSocial joined the YEARS team to build a strategy to maximize audiences and give those who tune in – and beyond – ways to learn more and take action. We are working hard to develop a public engagement campaign (more on that later) and to develop a climate change-focused education initiative in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation. We are working with a broad array of partners – from NGOs to leading scientists and researchers to green brands – to bring the reality of climate change to the forefront of the nation’s mind and open the conversation about what can be done.

We will bring you more updates in the coming months, but in the meantime, check out the trailer below and the website here.
